The much loved publication celebrates its return to all news stands with a massive cover feature on Jethro Tull, accompanied by a review of upcoming album ‘Jethro Tull The String Quartets’, to be released on 24th March. Prog Magazine is out now.
Following fast on the footsteps of Pass The Bottle (A Christmas Song), Jethro Tull announce the release of a second Christmas single after “Pass The Bottle (A Christmas Song)”. “Ring Out These Bells,” an adaptation of Jethro Tull’s “Ring Out, Solstice Bells,” from forthcoming album The String Quartet.
Both singles are available from iTunes as immediate downloads with preorder of the album, due out in March.
BMG announces the release of ‘Jethro Tull The String Quartets’, an album of classic Jethro Tull repertoire imaginatively arranged for Classical string quartet. Songwriter and producer Ian Anderson will feature on flute, guitar and vocals.
‘Jethro Tull the string quartets’ will be out on 24th March 2017, with single “Pass The Bottle (A Christmas Song)” released today, December 5th.
Ian Anderson has announced six UK dates for his 2015 tour ‘Jethro Tull – The Rock Opera’.
The show tells the story of the original Jethro Tull, the agricultural character after which the band was named.
Ian Anderson has announced the imminent release of new album Homo Erraticus, hitting the stores on April 14th.
It will be followed by an extensive UK tour, beginning April 28th in Brighton.
Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson will be touring the UK for a month, starting from Brighton on 28th April 2014.

Ian Anderson will hit the road in April 2012 for a 19 date UK tour commemorating the 40th Anniversary of Jethro Tull’s 1972 Billboard No. 1 ‘Thick As A Brick’; it can now be revealed that, to coincide with the release of the groundbreaking album sequel ‘Thick As A Brick 2’ on 2nd April, there will be a second part to the show where Anderson and the band will also perform the new material.
Ian Anderson played a Christmas Charity Show at Canterbury Cathedral on Saturday night with Special guests Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) and Justin Hayward (The Moody Blues).
2 other charity shows at Salisbury Cathedral on Friday 16th with special guest Greg Lake and Manchester Cathedral on Monday 19th December are sold out.
