Kansas have launched a live concert video for the track ‘Rhythm In The Spirit’, taken from the bands latest album ‘The Prelude Implicit’ released last September. Watch it by clicking the link to the full story below.
‘The Prelude Implicit’ is the first new album release in 16 years. Kansas will be appearing at several European Festivals in the summer, including Ramblin’ Man Fair in Maidstone UK on 30th July.
Jethro Tull ‘The String Quartets’ has entered the Billboard Chart at Number 1 and is at Number 2 in the iTunes Classical Chart this week.
Steve Hackett’s album The Night Siren entered the Rock Chart at No. 3 and is at 28 in the official album chart.
Hackett’s 15 date UK Genesis Revisited with Classic Hackett Tour starts in Dublin on 26th and Cardiff on 28th April.

The tour celebrates the 40th anniversary of classic Genesis album ‘Wind and Wuthering’, with a rich setlist including tracks from the record. Seminal album Argus, celebrating its 45th Anniversary, will be performed in its entirety, together with material from Wishbone Ash’ classic repertoire and more recent album “Written in the Stars”.

Steve Hackett has announced the ‘Genesis Revisited with classic Hackett’ tour, a 15 show stretch in UK and Ireland starting in Dublin on 26th April 2017.
The setlist will include a mix of tracks from classic album ‘Wind and Wuthering’ – celebrating its 40th anniversary – and other fan favourites, including Genesis numbers never performed before by Steve’s band.
Temptations’ singer Larry Braggs was injured in a fall during the band’s Manchester performance on Saturday night; he was taken to a local hospital as a precaution and given a bill of clean health.
Braggs was back on stage for the following date of the tour in Leeds to a standing ovation.
Martin Turner prepares for autumn dates and confirms collaboration with former Wishbone Ash colleagues for 32-disc CD boxed set
Wishbone Ash founder Martin Turner will take the roads of Britain with a 19-date tour starting November 2016; he will perform a mix of material from his 2015 release ‘Written In The Stars’ together with a selection of Wishbone Ash classics.
Turner also confirmed the release of “Wishbone Ash: The Vintage Years” – a definitive 32-disc CD boxed set spanning the period 1970 – 1991, for 2017-18 on Snapper Music.
John Lees’ BARCLAY JAMES HARVEST will embark on a 6 dates UK tour this November, performing material from their 3-decade recording career.
The tour follows a successful string of European dates earlier this year, culminating in a headline slot at Glastonbury Festival’s Acoustic Stage.

American legendary prog outfit Kansas have announced the release of their first studio album in 16 years, “The Prelude Implicit”, on September 23rd.
Songs from the record will be premiered during the band’s “Leftoverture” 40th Anniversary Tour, celebrating their breakthrough album in 1976.
Saxon will play 10 dates in the UK and Ireland with special guests Fastway and Girlschool, starting October 28th.
The shows will replace the UK leg of their 2015 tour with Motorhead, which was cancelled after the tragic passing on Lemmy last December.
Tangerine Dream have launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the shooting of more material for their first feature length documentary.
The band started the project as a short in 2014, but decided later to make it into a full length following the premature death of founder Edgar Froese.
