STEVE HACKETT – announces ‘Broken Skies – Outspread Wings (1984 – 2006)’ limited edition 6CD/2DVD collection
Legendary guitarist Steve Hackett releases a special 6XCD 2DVD Collection “Broken Skies – Outspread Wings (1984 – 2006)’ on 5th October.
Following on from 2015’s ‘Premonitions’, ‘Broken Skies – Outspread Wings’ will include albums ‘Till We Have Faces’, ‘Guitar Noir’, ‘Darktown’, ‘Feedback 86’, ‘To Watch The Storms’ & ‘Wild Orchids’ newly remastered, plus bonus tracks, DVD footage and a 60 pages collectors book.
Martin Barre, best-known as guitarist in Jethro Tull, releases his new studio album Roads Less Travelled on 5th October.
The album features 11 origianl tracks by Barre which reflect 50 years of his esteemed career.
Celebrating their 50th Anniversary Nazareth return with a New album – Tattooed on My Brain on 12th October. The first track from the album Pole to Pole is available to listen to now.
The band have a new vocalist joining them for this album, Carl Sentence, and they’ll start an extensive tour in Europe and North America shortly. Watch out for UK dates soon.

Swedish guitarist and vocalist Kee Marcello has announced a 6-date UK Scaling Up Tour in October.
Best known for his years with Europe, Marcello will perform material from his current album Scaling up as well as material from Europe’s mega album Out of This World, which celebrates its 30th Anniversary this year.

Saxon re-issue a third batch of Classic albums on 27th July – Innocence is no Excuse, Rock the Nations and Destiny on deluxe colour splatter vinyl & with CD mediabook. The mediabooks include various bonus tracks including a 12” mix, live ‘B’ sides and alternative mixes.

Looking for Lightening – Edinburgh Festival Fringe A light hearted trip through one man’s journey living with MS Edinburgh Festival Fringe – from 1st August to 27
Hollywood Actor, Garth McLean, makes his debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with his funny, light-hearted one man show – Looking for Lightening. It tells his journey from his being Diagnosed with MS in 1996 to changing the course of his life, travelling the world, teaching people to manage auto-immune health conditions by incorporating Iyengar Yoga into his wellness regime.
Robert Berry and Keith Emerson were collaborating on a new album at the time of Emerson’s untimely death. Several months later Berry decided to go ahead and make the album they should have recorded together. The result is 3.2 The Rules Have Changed – released on 10th August. The album was recorded by Berry and features contributions by Emerson.
BMG are happy to announce the re-issue of 3 more of Saxon’s classic albums: Denim and Leather, Power & the Glory and Crusader on 25th May.
The CDs are 24-page media books containing original lyrics, rare photos and memorabilia and they will feature bonus tracks including a selection of early demos – some of which that didn’t make final track listings – B sides and live recordings.
The Vinyl will be original albums in coloured splatter and Swirl Vinyl.
