Steve Hackett Announces

‘Metamorpheus’ & ‘Tribute’ Reissues

Including Vinyl For The Very First Time

Legendary rock guitarist Steve Hackett & InsideOutMusic recently announced a series of reissues of his classical catalogue, which began last month with ‘Bay Of Kings’ & ‘Momentum’. Now he is pleased to reveal the next two albums to get the treatment will be ‘Metamorpheus’ & ‘Tribute’ due for release on the 15th November 2025.

Metamorpheus’, originally released in 2005, is an expression on Orpheus and his passage through the underworld. It saw Steve collaborating with a horn and string section under the guise of The Underworld Orchestra, as well his brother John Hackett on flute & Dick Driver on double bass.

Tribute, originally released in 2008, saw Steve paying homage to some of his favourite composers including Bach, Byrd, Barrios and more, using only his nylon-stringed acoustic guitar.

Both albums have been newly remastered for vinyl, and will be available as Gatefold 180g LP’s in both black and limited coloured vinyl editions for the very first time. New digipak CD editions will also be available, and they can all be pre-ordered below:

These follow hot on the heels of his critically-acclaimed new studio album ‘The Circus and the Nightwhale’. A rite-of-passage concept album with a young character called Travla at the centre of it, the 13 tracks have an autobiographical angle for the musician who says about his 30th solo release: “I love this album. It says the things I’ve been wanting to say for a very long time.”
