Steve Hackett – ‘Wolflight’ Interview Video Launched

World-renowned guitarist/composer Steve Hackett returns with his new solo album Wolflight on the 30th March 2015 in Europe. With just over a week to go till the album release, an interview with Steve on the album’s title track, taken from the special edition version of the album, has been released. Listen & find out more about the song and the ideas behind it here:

A lyric video for the track ‘The Wheel’s Turning’ was also recently released and you can find that below:

Steve had this to say about the song: ‘In contrast to the primal and gothic nature of much of the album, ‘The Wheel’s Turning’ has a fun and nostalgic vibe. It recaptures my childhood memories of London’s Battersea Funfair which gave me hours of joy and challenge in an otherwise grey world. Take that trip back in time with me, fasten your seat belt and enjoy the ride…’

It was also recently revealed that Roine Stolt (Transatlantic, The Flower Kings) would be joining him on bass and 12-string guitar for the UK tour dates later this year.

A teaser trailer for the album, featuring snippets of new music plus some insight from Steve himself, can be viewed below:

The album will be released on the following formats: Special edition CD+Blu-ray Mediabook incl. 5.1 mix, interviews & two bonus tracks Standard CD jewelcase 2LP Gatefold vinyl

Steve will embark upon his Acolyte To Wolflight with Genesis Revisited Tour in October 2015, with 19 UK shows.
